This is a great video, straight-forward and to the point, and provided for free which not many would do, thank you. A very small point - the 0-0 scoreline loss will only be the sum of the first two losing bets, not all three, as the third bet (2-0 / 0-2) will not have been placed.

Very interesting and detailed video. Forgive me, but I don't understand the over/under table that came out with big losses on all bets when no filters are applied. For example, how come "Back over 2.5" and "Lay under 2.5" do not come out exactly the same as each other when they are the same thing? Similarly, if Austria and Segunda are always terrible for betting "Back over x goals", surely that means they are always profitable for "Lay over x goals" ?

My don't understand whats the difference of ht 1.5 or second half 2 goals? At the end they are more tiered and some dudes smoke ,party,miss trainings in lower Liqs so there shall b more goals or ur ensurace bet stop working in 2 half? U also said Danes less goals , maybe lay away is good here if there is no goals at all?

Thanks Ian, great video. I want to ask, when you look at the points profit, do you ever analyse that over individual seasons? So for example you had 403 games in your dataset and then you followed that through and worked out the overall profit from those games… do you then look to see which years had the most points (I’m assuming those bets were over a number of seasons) or if the system is on a downward trend or would that not matter? Could you take an average and make that your expectation for the season? I’ve just signed up for FTS beginner, is it at all possible to know what the data says behind those systems? The bit in the video around 43mins was really great and gave a real explanation of what you can expect - I’m 100% one of those who would start something, get 11 losses and panic. I’m here to learn and any clarity on those systems would be helpful. Appreciate your time.

Re the first system (16 teams) - for purpose of calculating deepest hole should we include ALL data or only that from 16/17 season? Or maybe even just from 19/20 season? (all data = a pretty deep hole if I've done my calcs correctly...)

Deepest x 3 = size of bank needed, is that correct? Presume if running (say) 5 systems then they all need to be combined in this way and deepest hole calculated for all 5 combined, yes?

Hi. As an new Ultimate member, I'd appreciate your thoughts on Lay O3.5 for the upcoming season - off the back of what I think was a stinker 23/24 season (if I'm reading the new files right). I know Ian says don't look at seasons but did the "league dynamic" change significantly enough to suggest it won't swing back?Thanks.

Relatively new to betfair and trading in general, had a play last year and did well enough with a loose system but lost the vast majority doing most of what was laid out here, in particular a fear to take a loss, I would ALWAYS, convince myself another goal couldnt go in so late… Keen to have a proper go this year so will build these tips in and will get into the beginner lay the draw stuff I think. If short home odds ht1.5 are even and ft 3.5 total also, if there is a goal and we take tiny bit under 4.5 after goal, is it the edge? Or what bad cud happend , I'm lazy ,do u have any clue?
